FuGPS

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 17, 2026

Short version: FuGPS does not collect, transmit or sell any data. Everything the app records stays on your iPhone unless you choose to share it yourself.

What the app records

When you start a recording, FuGPS saves the following to files on your device:

The app asks for permission to use Location, Motion & Fitness and Bluetooth. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Recording only happens when you start it.

Where the data goes

Map downloads

When the app downloads offline road maps, it requests them from this website (fugps.pages.dev), which is hosted by Cloudflare. As with any web request, Cloudflare receives your device's IP address and basic request information to deliver the files; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. The request contains no recordings, location or other personal data, and FuGPS does not keep logs of these downloads.

Recordings contain a precise record of where and when you drove. Share them with care.

Deleting your data

You can delete any recording in the app's Sessions list or through the Files app. Deleting the app removes all of its recordings from your device. Device backups (for example, iCloud Backup) follow your iOS settings.

Children

FuGPS is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
